I just bought a copper pot lined with tin from a discount store. It is from France but I cannot make out the company. There were no directions on cleaning the outside of the pot before first use. A copper pot I purchased in the 80s required some special washing the prior to use so the copper would not turn dark and /or get dark spots but I do not recall the process. Any advice will be most appreciated.
